IIFA Awards 2016 Results



The IIFA 2016 has finally concluded in Madrid, Spain after its four-day gala which began on 23rd June with over 150 film celebrities and almost 20,000 fans. The results have been announced for the most anticipated awards in Indian Film Industry.

Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar hosted the awards ceremony. Most highlighted and stunning performances by the star celebrities include performances by Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Daisy Shah and many more...





Priyanka Chopra won a special award for 'Woman of the Year.'


'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Piku' were the most highlighted and celebrated movies in IIFA 2016.


On the eve of IIFA Awards 2016, Deepika Padukone on winning the Best Actress for her film 'Piku', she said that "I wish I had won for 'Bajirao Mastani' as well along with 'Piku'.

  • Best Story Award: Juhi Chaturvedi for ‘Piku’
  • Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) Award: Deepika Padukone for ‘Piku’
  • Best Cinematography: Sudeep Chatterjee for ‘Bajirao Mastani’
  • Best Screenplay: Kabir Khan, Parveez Shaikh, V. Vijayendra Prasad for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’
  • Best Editing: A Sreekar Prasad for ‘Talvar’
  • Best Performance in a Supporting role (Female) Award: Priyanka Chopra for ‘Bajirao Mastani’
  • Best Debutante Award: Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty for ‘Hero’
  • Best Performance in Negative role Award: Darshan Kumaar for ‘NH10’
  • Best Performance in a Comic Role Award: Deepak Dobriyal for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’
  • Best Male Playback Singer Award: Papon for ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ – Dum Laga Ke Haisha’
