A suspected blast, caused by 'self-made explosive materials' in the 'C' check-in counters at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport injured three people on Sunday afternoon (June 12), the Shanghai Airport Authority and media reports said.
At around 2.20pm, bombs exploded near the 'C' check-in area at Terminal-Two of Shanghai's Pudong International Airport, resulting three injuries of passengers. Bombs are said to be made of "suspected self-made explosive materials", said the Shanghai Airport Authority on its official blog.
The injured have been rushed to the nearby hospital for further treatment and the affected area is sealed by the airport security officials and police.
